New Delhi-based 1-Globe.in, a B2B portal sourcing and distributing non-air travel products recently added 7,000 Indian hotels to its list of offerings. The portal was launched last year offering 60,000 hotels, and today the portal offers two lakh hotels and apartments worldwide. Considering the shortage of hotel rooms, the main idea behind introducing domestic hotels is to ease the problems faced by travel agents to book hotel nights in India. To further enhance the booking experience, the portal has upgraded its booking solution, through which travel agents can view and book last minute inventory or same day allocation on 1-Globe. The portal has also added 'Special offers' criteria, wherein the special promotions, discounts and offers offered by hotels can be viewed and availed by travel agents.
Talking about the updates, Rishi Uberoi, General Manager – Business and Product Development, 1-Globe.in said, “Hotels are the top most selling product after air tickets. 1-Globe has serviced 7,000 room nights in this financial year (April – November), which is a huge success taking the global meltdown into consideration. |
