In order to facilitate travel to China, the Chinese Embassy in India has decided to open a consulate office in Kolkata by April 2008. The only other Chinese consulate office in India is located in Mumbai.
Talking to TravelBiz Monitor, Wang Xiang Yun (Alice), Deputy Director, China National Tourist Office (CNTO), says, "China is going to open a consulate office in Kolkata by April. However, the exact date has not yet been finalised." |
