With 50 trained guides, The Sindhudurg Guide also launched their website - - wherein registered users can share their travelogues, photos and videos shot during their journey to Sindhudurg. They also introduced a special package, Guided Sightseeing Tours, offering a guided tour to various destinations like Malvan, Devbaug and Tarkarli; Sawantwadi and Amboli; Devgad and Vengurla, at Rs 599 per person per tour. This will include transportation by AC luxury cars, sightseeing, backwater boating, water sports, etc.

In addition to these products, The Sindhudurg Guide has partnered with a local cable television, Shraddha, to create a travel show ‘Paryatanachi Pandhari – Sindhudurg’ to showcase tourist attractions of the district. The show will be anchored by guides trained by The Sindhudurg Guide. This show will be aired thrice a week, all over the district and cable networks affiliated with Shraddha channel.

On the occasion, Rane, said, “The capacity of tourism to drive growth and create jobs needs to be accompanied by strong supportive public policies. The Sindhudurg Guide is a programme introduced with an aim to support as many entrepreneurs and small scaled businesses as we can for the development of tourism as an industry in the district and to give employment opportunities to the local youth. We are confident that our growing commitment in support of the sector will result in overall positive outcomes for tourism and contribute to growth in employment and a sustainable economic transformation.”
