Air Canada to make Delhi-Vancouver flight year-round service from June 8

Air Canada, which launched the seasonal non-stop flight on Delhi-Vancouver route in October 2016, is so to make it a year-round service from June 8, 2018. “Customer response to our non-stop Delhi - Vancouver - Delhi seasonal flight has been extremely positive, and we are very pleased to extend this flight to year-round service beginning June 2018”, said Ben Smith, President, Passenger Airlines, Air Canada.

 “Our flights on this route are serviced by our state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner and offer not only the only direct and non-stop service on this route, but also a streamlined and seamless connections process at Vancouver to key destinations in North America.”

According to Smith, these flights together with the direct and non-stop Delhi to Toronto and Mumbai flights represent three year-round routes to India launched within the last two and a half years. “Air Canada is committing close to USD 1.5 billion worth of aircraft between Canada and India, underscoring our commitment to this vibrant market and to our continuing strategic, global expansion.”
Air Canada’s B 787-9 feature 29 International Business Class lie-flat seat suites, 21 Premium Economy and 247 Economy Class seats, with upgraded in-flight entertainment at every seat throughout the aircraft.
