Mumbai airport’s arrival area gets transit lounge

As per the Hindustan Times report, taking passenger facilities a step ahead, Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) has become the first airport in the country to have a transit lounge in the arrivals section of the International Terminal (T2). The lounge was planned in January 2017 and will be operated by an Indian airline operating.

The passengers transiting from domestic flights to international destinations will benefit from the new facility. The facilities at the transit lounge include 15 sleeping pods, shower cubicles and 50 seats which are now fully functional. The passengers have to pay an additional fee to avail the facilities and can book their spot through travel websites.
