Vancouver (Canada)-based Mazda Travel Inc. has appointed Global Destinations as their representatives in India with effect from April 1, 2010. Mazda Travel is a wholesale inbound tour operator focusing on Canada and USA as their major product offering to the Indian clientele. The company has been working in the Indian market since the last few years, and is now looking at increasing the market share of outbound traffic towards Canada and USA. Global Destinations will promote product offerings of the company in key source markets of India like Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru.
Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Pranav Kapadia, Director, Global Destinations and Representative, Mazda Travel said, “The major focus area for Mazda Travel is to attract leisure and MICE traffic from India to Canada and USA. We are open to working closely with all quality tour operators in India and will also work in close conjunction with Canadian Tourism Commission.”
Plans are afoot to launch a special brochure on Canada, however the brochure is currently being planned and specific details of the same were not divulged. Mazda Travel will also conduct extensive sales visit in Mumbai, New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru by the end of this month. For travel agents in India, the company will provide log in and password for its website – www.mazdatravel.com to access different packages and special offers in order to sell packages.
