Global Panorama Showcase expects 300 buyers at each edition of 4-city roadshow

For the upcoming four-city roadshow, Global Panorama Showcase (GPS) is looking at welcoming more than 300 buyers over the three-day event at each edition. For the first time, the trade show will be held in cities of Ahmedabad (July 14-16), Chandigarh (July 20-22), Kolkata (July 27-29) and Coimbatore (August 3-5). “We will have more than 50 exhibitors showcasing around 70-80 products at each edition of GPS. The event will begin with six presentations on the first day. The presentations will be conducted by Starwood, Genting Hong Kong, among others, along with a session on Service Tax by Manish Gadia from GMJ & Co. The registration process will begin at 10.30am and presentations will start at 11am. Each presentation will be of 45-minute duration,” said Harmandeep Singh Anand, Co-Founder, GPS.

The second and the third day of the trade marketplace will be dedicated to B2B interactions. “The B2B days will be thrown open at 10.30am and conclude at 6pm and 5pm, respectively, on the second and third day. On the second evening of GPS, we will host a networking dinner, which will see members of associations like TAAI (Travel Agents Association of India), Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), Enterprising Travel Agents Association, OTOAI (Outbound Tour Operators Association of India), Travel Agents of Gujarat, Travel Agents of Coimbatore, Travel Agents of Punjab, etc., along with other industry delegates interacting with buyers and exhibitors. We are awaiting confirmations from some other associations as well,” Anand said.

Additionally, GPS will conduct Hosted Buyer programmes of one and two-nights in each city, for agents from the surrounding Tier-II and III areas. As for the exhibitors, like the Nagpur edition earlier this year, GPS will create a backdrop display.

Last month, in order to provide a common networking ground, GPS launched a mobile application (app). “The mobile app is available on Android, iOS, Windows and Blackberry platforms. It offers an opportunity for interaction between buyers and exhibitors. It has proved to be very effective and every day we are adding new features to make it more comprehensive and sending out information to the agents.”
