Global Panorama Showcase (GPS), a B2B travel trade event for Tier-II and Tier-III cities of India will cover six cities next year - Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Kochi and Pune. The year will kick-start with the Nagpur edition from January 19-21; followed by Ahmedabad from July 13-15; Chandigarh from July 20-22; Kolkata from July 27-29; Kochi from August 3-5 and Pune from August 10-12, 2017.
GPS will continue to offer important industry trends and relevant knowledge to the industry with one day dedicated to learning and workshops, alongside the business meetings that will take place over the three days.
The 4th edition of GPS Nagpur was extremely successful and registered an increase in visitor footfalls from central India. The event was followed by adding on four new shows to the portfolio namely GPS Ahmedabad, GPS Chandigarh, GPS Kolkata and GPS Coimbatore. GPS 2016 saw a combined unique travel trade visitor registration of over 3000 delegates.

The format of the event is specially designed to empower and knowledge share various topics, issues and products that will have a positive impact on day to day business and benefit the trade in the region.”
Raju Akolkar, CEO, GPS added, “For the Nagpur edition, we will launch Voluntourism packages as we have identified a few NGO’s in the region to work with. This will also help travel agents put forth an interesting travel product in the region that will include wildlife and community development together with local sightseeing. We will also get a local travel industry expert to speak and highlight the tourism products available in the region and will discuss on how to make it available to the industry. The event will also throw light on the regions’ traveller behaviour in the context of domestic as well as outbound tourism.”

GPS provides an opportunity to launch new destinations/ products/ packages and reach out to the travel fraternity directly and understand the business potential of the region.
