| | Abacus International has launched the latest version of Abacus Whiz in India, providing travel agencies with greater automation and efficiencies in work processes. Abacus Whiz is a Windows-based system that gives travel consultants easy access to Abacus Global Distribution System (GDS) and other travel content.
As per the company release, new enhancements to the latest release consist of features such as the enhanced re-issue mask that automates re-pricing and calculates the difference in fares and taxes automatically, making the work process easier for travel consultants.
The enhanced Abacus Whiz consists of:
- Guided workflow for ticket re-issuance:
Validation checks will provide assurance that printers have been assigned.
Enhanced workflow with appropriate masks auto-populated with information from the previous ticket, incorporated with the ability to edit the information enabling the travel consultant to be more productive.
