Accor Hospitality has launched a toll free number (1860-500-2020) for customers in India to make reservations at its network of over 4,000 hotels and nearly five lakh rooms in almost 100 countries. The new call centre has been inaugurated in Pune, Maharashtra and manages central reservations for all Accor brands including Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure, Suitehotel, Ibis, all seasons. This will lend support to the existing booking channel of accorhotels.com.
As per the company release, globally, reservations by telephone constitute over a third of Accor’s total room nights sold through all direct channels. This toll free number will create a wider distribution network and compliment the website. The staff at the call centre has been trained to provide expert advice on destinations and are able to guide Indian travel agents and customers about the hotel best suited to their needs.
