| | With an aim to have uniform guidelines for all kinds of domestic tour operations, the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) has formed a Trade Reform Committee. Arun Varma, Owner, Allways Marketing and Travel Services has been elected as the Chairman of the Trade Reform Committee. He is also the Executive Council (EC) member, as well as the member of the Government Coordination Committee of ADTOI. The Association has also hired a lawyer to draft an uniform contract agreement to be used by travel agents for deals with suppliers like hoteliers and transporters.
ADTOI in association with the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) is planning to formulate a registration policy which will make registration mandatory for all domestic tour operators in India. The Association is also in talks with various state bodies to organise state specialist programmes (such as Kerala Specialist programme) for all tour operators in order to provide them with more knowledge about the respective state thus enabling them to promote and the sell the offerings of the state better. | | Read complete story >> (You need to login first to read complete story).
