Africa-based Singita Game Reserves keen on appointing representative in India by 2011

Singita Game Reserves, one of Africa's premium game reserves, is keen on appointing a representative in India by 2011. Targeting HNI (High Networth Individuals) and premium category travellers, the company is looking for a niche travel company in India with similar focus market. Currently recording a growth of 30 per cent year-on-year from the Indian market, the company intends to further improve its business opportunities. Currently, Singita Game Reserves operates four lodges in Africa - Singita Sabi Sand and Singita Kruger National Park in South Africa; Singita Grumeti Reserves in Tanzania and Singita Pamushana in Zimbabwe.

Speaking on the sidelines of the ongoing INDABA 2010 (May 8-11, 2010) held at Albert Luthuli Convention Centre (Durban ICC), South Africa, Mark Witney, Director, Singita Game Reserves said, “Four Indian representation companies have shown interest to represent the Reserve in India. For our game reserves, US is the biggest source market. But talking about the potential markets, India and China top the list.
