Air Pacific to launch twice weekly direct flights from Nadi to Hong Kong effective December 3, 2009

According to a report in etravelblackboardasia.com, Air Pacific will launch it’s twice a week direct services from Nadi in Fiji to Hong Kong effective December 3, 2009. For the same, the airline will use two-class Boeing 767. Flight FJ318 will depart Hong Kong for Nadi at 17:05 pm on Thursday and Saturday in order to arrive in Nadi at 07:05 the next morning. The return flight will then depart Nadi at 08:55 am in order to arrive in Hong Kong at 15:10 on the same day.

“This will definitely help increase the number of tourists from China to Fiji and we are happy to be part of the local tourism industry as we are in other areas of trade with Fiji,” said a Chinese Embassy spokesperson to local paper Fiji Times. The service is also expected to increase arrivals from the United Kingdom and Europe, with travellers able to travel with codeshare partners and hub through Hong Kong.
