Argentina Tourism to participate in major trade fairs in India

Argentina Tourism is looking to grab its share of Indian tourists. In a bid to promote Argentina among the Indian travel trade, the Consulate General of Argentina, the Argentinean Embassy and the Argentina National Institute of Tourism Promotion will jointly participate in major trade fairs and conduct familiarisation trips for the Indian travel trade to Argentina.

Speaking exclusively with TravelBiz Monitor, Pompeyo C Layus, Deputy Consul General, Consulate General of Argentina informed, “The Consulate General of Argentina shall aggressively promote Argentina in India from next year. Together with the Argentina National Institute of Tourism Promotion, the Embassy of Argentina will be showcasing different tourism products at the Argentina Pavilion at SATTE 2012 in New Delhi in February. A delegation of seven to ten travel agents from Argentina will be attending SATTE 2012. The delegation will later visit Mumbai and meet the travel agents there."
