| | Khajuraho-based hotel-marketing company, Aryan Hospitality, is all set to foray into hotel management with their first heritage hotel set to be operational near Khajuraho in the coming months. The company has leased and converted a mini fort owned by the Bundhela royal family - Hammeer Ghari in Basari Village on the Khajuraho – Chattarpur road - into a heritage hotel. According to the company’s spokesperson, Shailaish Pratap Singh, the heritage hotel is the first of its kind in Khajuraho and will become operational with 19 rooms and two restaurants in July this year. The hotel will add another 16 rooms and a swimming pool to it in the next phase, he said.
One of the important attractions of the heritage hotel is the Jalmahal Restaurant, which is an extension of the fort, in the middle of Rajatal Lake behind the fort. The hotel operates pedal boats to carry guests to the restaurant. There is a second restaurant inside the renovated fort itself. All the rooms in the hotel are double-bedded and there is a central courtyard. | | Read complete story >> (You need to login first to read complete story). New User? Register for FREE! |
