| | The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) will be organising its convention between 16-18th of this month at Pacific Hotel Dehradun in Uttarakhand. B C Khanduri, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand will inaugurate the convention. A high level delegation comprising of officials from the Ministry of Forest and Ministry of Tourism (MoT) secretaries along with distinguished personalities from travel trade will attend the convention. ATOAI has also invited a foreign speaker, Roger Payne and cricket celebrity, Charu Sharma for the convention. The theme of the convention will be ‘New face of Adventure Travel.’
Talking exclusively to TravelBiz Monitor, Mandip Singh Soin, Vice President, ATOAI informed that at the convention ATOAI will draw the attention of the Ministry of Forest and MoT to a few key issues regarding adventure travel in order to Adventure Tourism on a higher level, where it is conducted in a smooth, safe and eco-friendly manner.
