The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) will launch an e-newsletter for its members from the first week of January 2010. Speaking at the press conference convened in the capital recently, Tejbir Singh Anand, President, ATOAI said, “The newsletter will be launched well before the annual convention, scheduled to be held from January 15-17, 2010 in Bhopal, as through this we plan to communicate and reach out to our membership.”
Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Vishwas Makhija, Executive Committee member and Chairman, Convention Committee informed that approximately 300 delegates are expected to attend the annual convention, as well as few foreign delegates including adventure specialists from UK. Makhija mentioned that soft-launch of the Madhya Pradesh Chapter of ATOAI will coincide with the annual convention.
The Association will shortly bring out three brochures on Adventure Tourism activities and destination in India for the Ministry of Tourism (MoT). These brochures will be circulated by the India Tourism Overseas offices. |
