Australian government advises its tourist to avoid travelling to India

The department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Government, has issued a travel advisory to its tourists travelling to India by warning them to not travel to India at this point in time due to the terror attacks and serial blasts. The travel advisory also cautioned Australians to avoid travelling to Mumbai and further advised them in Mumbai to remain in a safe location, monitor the media for information about new safety and security risks and follow the advice of local authorities. It further pointed out that the Mumbai attack showed that terrorist in India are targeting Westerners as the blast could take place at any time, anywhere, including places where foreigners gather.
