Best Western forays into Punjab with ‘Merrion’ in Amritsar

Best Western India has announced their entry into Punjab with the opening of Best Western Merrion in the City of the Golden Temple, Amritsar. The 40-room hotel having four-star facilities is the first hospitality venture of Armaan Resorts Private Ltd. The property, which is located at a prime business area, at Ranjit Avenue, is close to Amritsar International Airport and the railway station.

The hotel, which is designed and equipped to cater to all segments of travellers will put a special emphasis on business class and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). On the room inventory front, the hotel has 32 deluxe rooms (20 double bedded and 12 twin bedded), four Executive suites; and four Royal suites spread on four floors. In order to offer unique touch and feel, each floor has been given different colour themes. The fully Wi-Fi enabled hotel has a multi-cuisine restaurant – The One - offering Indian, Oriental, Continental, and Italian cuisine; a Coffee Shop – Cup Lounge; a lounge bar – The Lava; and spacious banqueting and meeting facilities. The terrace pool and health club are added attractions at the hotel.
