Cannes Tourism Board is going to adopt a three prong strategy to promote itself as a tourist destination in the Indian market. The tourism board is aiming at targeting segments such as MICE, honeymoon, trade fairs from India. It is also looking at promoting the city through the Cannes Film Festival, as well as a shopping destination for young Indian fashion enthusiasts. The tourism board will touch base with professionals of the tourism industry in partnership with Atout France and in turn promote the city, Cannes, through exhibitions, FAM trips, workshops, sales calls, road shows; intensive media coverage and also promote Cannes as a film shooting destination.
