Check-in via web, kiosks for MAS customers

Malaysian Airlines (MAS) customers will be able to check-in via the web and self-serve kiosks for all international travel by next year. In a statement issued by MAS recently, Dr Amin Khan, Senior General Manager (Transition Management), Malaysian Airlines confirmed that international customers will be able to do web check-in by next year. “They can also select their preferred seats online 24 hours before flight departure and print their boarding passes,” said Amin, adding that customers using the web and kiosk check-in can also drop off their baggage, if any, at designated airport counters.

MAS customers for Association of South-East Asian Nations destinations can now bypass the queues by checking in via the web or kiosks located at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport to simplify passenger travel. “These two check-in services are now available for travel to 16 cities such as Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Phnom Penh, in addition to all destinations in Malaysia,” informed Khan.
