| | According to a PIB release, Civil Aviation Minister, Praful Patel recently presented the up gradation and modernisation status plan of non-metro airports in the country including requirements of adequate funds which will be made available by Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the projects, in the Lok Sabha.
He informed that development work has been completed at various non-metro airports such as: Vizag (Andhra Pradesh)- construction of new integrated terminal building with a cost of Rs 94.94 crore; Surat (Gujarat)- development of airport with a cost of Rs 105 crore; Aurangabad (Maharashtra)- construction of new integrated terminal building with a cost of Rs 99.60 crore; Nagpur (Maharashtra)- expansion and modification of terminal building for international operations at a cost of Rs 79.03 crore; Jaipur (Rajasthan)- construction of new international terminal complex at a cost of Rs 94.87 crore; Udaipur (Rajasthan)- construction of new terminal building complex at a cost of Rs 77.44 crore; Trichy (Tamil Nadu)- construction of new terminal building at a cost of Rs 74.70 crore | | Read complete story >> (You need to login first to read complete story).
