Club Med to inaugurate Club Med Villas in Mauritius in April 2010

As a part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, Club Med will inaugurate its 40 private villas in Mauritius adjacent to Club Med La Plantation d'Albion in April 2010. The villas, which vary in size from two to four bedrooms are available for purchase and are on target for completion in spring 2010. With full ownership of their Villa, buyers will also benefit from associated tax incentives and residency entitlement. Owners will also have the opportunity to place their villa in a lease management scheme, to generate additional revenue. Apart from inaugurating the villas in Mauritius, Club Med will also introduce a mini-club for children of the four to 11 years, further allowing more activities for accompanying children at the resort.

Club Med will also open its eco-resort at Cherating Beach in Malaysia, new spa at Club Med Bintan in Indonesia, new baby club in Phuket in Thailand and a ski resort in China this year. With regards to the Indian market, Club Med India reported an exceptional growth in sales for the winter season of 2010 (travel period between November 2009 to April 2010 and is continuing to grow at a rate of 200 per cent in revenue.
