Cockpit4u Aviation Services, Germany-based training institute for pilots, sees potential for its 'Train-the-trainer' course in the Indian market. Currently, the company trains more than 200 pilots per year and also plans to introduce its other courses in India. It aims to work with the Indian carriers for training their pilots. It is also in the process of approaching different flying clubs in the country to initiate its courses to them.
Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Dennis Pilz, Managing Director, Cockpit4u Aviation Services said, “There is a growing need for highly qualified pilots in India. Though the aviation sector is facing a slump period right now, there will be a huge demand for pilots when the markets bounce back.” The company is also planning to set up a training centre in Bangalore and is considering the Aero Park project to be set up by Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA) for the same. However, the plans are in the initial stages presently. The institute is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). |
