Compact Travels to launch Germany specific web portal by mid-March 2009

Compact Travels will launch a new web portal promoting Germany as a destination in the Indian market by mid- March 2009. The site will be like namasteturkey.com, which is an India-specific website for visitors to Turkey launched in December 2008 by Compact Travels. “We will offer special, general and customised packages to the Indian consumers which will sell Germany along with its neighbouring destinations. The website will act as a medium for spreading product awareness and destination specific information. In April 2009, Compact Travels will organise a workshop for the agents interested in selling Germany as a destination,” informed Subhash Motwani, Director, Compact Travels.

Talking about its representation in Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) 2009, Motwani said, “We will be participating in TTF 2009 in both Mumbai and Delhi. However, we will be a part of Turkey Tourism Board delegation where we will promote our website namasteturkey.com.”
