New Delhi-based Concord Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. is eying various countries to expand its service markets for MICE segment. Currently, the company offers MICE services to domestic destinations like Rajasthan, Goa, Kerala, etc. and internationally in markets like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. But with the global slowdown, the company is looking at various unique and untouched destinations across the world.
Monica Agarwal, Vice President – Product Building, Concord Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are looking at destinations in East Europe like Hungary, Czech Republic and Vienna; St Petersburg and Moscow in Russia along with Australia. People are looking for new destinations, which are different from the standard South East Asian country experience. No doubt, South East Asia is one of the biggest markets for Indian outbound in MICE segment, but other countries are catching up.” The company is also promoting destinations in India for inbound and domestic traffic for MICE.
