Pune-based CruiseBay, a cruise aggregator company will now expand its CruiseBay City Partner concept by appointing its third partner in Chennai on the 19th of this month. The third partner – Pricol Travel Limited will set up its Cruise Lounge in its office premises. The Chennai CruiseBay Lounge will be the third for CruiseBay, with others already set up in Pune and Ahmedabad. Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Nikhil Thakuradas, Director, CruiseBay said, “We are looking at expanding in Tier I and II cities, however we do not have a fixed target about which city will be appointed City Partner first as we conduct lot of ground work before appointing a partner.” CruiseBay is looking at entering major cruise markets like Mumbai and Delhi by early next year.
Currently, CruiseBay offers itineraries of 27 different cruise company's across the globe which includes Indian companies like Assam Bengal Navigation and Vivada Cruises India. With the Chennai partner being appointed, CruiseBay is looking at capturing the South Indian market especially from Chennai and the cities around. |
