With a strong focus to intensify destination awareness among the travel trade, Canada Tourism Commission (CTC) will launch the level two of Canada Specialist Programme by Quarter Two of 2010. The first level of the specialist programme was launched last year.
Speaking to TravelBiz Monitor, Derek Galpin, Managing Director, China and India, Canada Tourism Commission said, “We are looking at launching the level two of the specialist programme by May or June 2010. Furthermore, to increase destination awareness, the tourism board will also conduct a B2B workshop from March 2-6, 2010. The workshop will be conducted in New Delhi from March 2-3, 2010 and in Mumbai from March 5-6, 2010. The workshop will witness close to 48 Canadian delegates interacting with Indian travel agents. |
