CTPC along with DoT, Govt of MP to organise Chambal Challenge 2010 from October 11-16

Council offering three tourism packages for the event

Chambal Tourism Promotion Council (CTPC), for the first time, in association with Department of Tourism (DoT), Government of Madhya Pradesh is going to organise Chambal Challenge 2010 from October 11-16, 2010 at Ater Block situated on the banks of Chambal River in Bhind District, Madhya Pradesh. The main aim of organising this six-day event is to boost Rural and Adventure Tourism thereby providing livelihood to local residents and promote the state.

The Council is expecting more than 400 visitors for the event. Management Committee and Executive Body of CTPC including Raghuraj Rajendran, Collector & District Magistrate, Bhind District and Chanchal Shekhar, Superintendent of Police, Bhind District, are looking at inviting ministers and famous personalities for the inauguration and closing ceremony of the event. During the event, CTPC will display various cultural events, as well as provide several tourism activities such as hot air ballooning, para-motor, parasailing, rappelling, zorbing, banana ride, ringo ride and treasure hunt for tourist besides tent accommodation.
