Cutting Edge, Thomas Cook and SOTC Sports to work closely with Kingfisher Airlines for IPL 2

According to confirmed industry sources, it has been disclosed to TravelBiz Monitor that Cutting Edge, Thomas Cook and SOTC Sports are the three tour operators that will work closely with the official airline and travel partner Kingfisher Airlines for the DLF Indian Premier League (IPL) 2009. The tournament will be held in South Africa. As per sources, “These tour operators will be in a position to market packages specific to IPL 2, whereas other agents apart from these three cannot market IPL packages.” As per a recent press release issued by Kingfisher Airlines, the airline will work closely in consultation with South African Tourism and the three tour operators to offer cricket fans a unique experience in South Africa. The airline is also working closely with IPL to ensure that all teams and support management have smooth travel procedures and utmost convenience between India and South Africa.
