CzechTourism to open India office in New Delhi by July 2010

The CzechTourism will open its India office by July this year which will initially operate from the Czech Embassy in New Delhi. The CzechTourism is in the process of selecting a Tourism Director for the India office. The Tourism Director will handle marketing plans of Czech destinations and products in the Indian market. This information was divulged by Klara Vyslouzilova, Manager – Market Analysis Department, CzechTourism, who is currently in the country to explore possibilities of promoting outbound from India to Czech Republic.

Vyslouzilova also mentioned that while promoting outbound from India to Czech Republic independently, CzechTourism will also benefit from the joint promotions of Visegrad Group in India under the theme ‘European Quartet – One Melody’. Czech Republic received 4,400 Indian visitors in 2009.
