With an objective to increase destination awareness, Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is looking at conducting workshops on Dubai with TAFI and TAAI chapters on a pan-India basis. The workshops are currently being planned out and are slated to begin from next month, starting with Chennai and Bengaluru.
Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Carl Vaz, Director – India, DTCM said, “These workshops will definitely help us increase destination awareness among the association members. Also, we will be able to promote Dubai for the upcoming TAFI convention and encourage trade to attend the convention in Dubai. We should be able to kick-start the workshops with both the associations soon as we are currently in talks for the same.”
Apart from promoting Dubai, DTCM will also look at promoting the region of UAE among the trade members. Pradip Lulla, President, TAFI said, “TAFI has close to ten chapters and conducting workshops with the trade members will definitely enhance the destination awareness. |
