According to an ANI report, Egypt's brand ambassador and Bollywood actor Celina Jaitely recently launched a new brand campaign and logo of Egypt in India. Explaining the new campaign, logo and slogan, Adel El Masry, Director, Egypt Tourism Authority in India said, “The new brand campaign, logo and slogan signify that Egypt is not only the origin of a civilisation that helped in shaping universal culture, but as a tourist destination it is the source of new experiences, rich personal inspiration and has outstanding stories to tell.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mohamed Higazy, Ambassador of Egypt to India said, “India is important to us not only as a tourism source market but more as a country with which we share strong political and cultural ties. India and Egypt have cultural synergies and affinities since ancient times. Due to this we are launching our new campaign and logo here. We want more Indians to visit Egypt and experience for themselves the hospitality of Egypt. Both the countries are perfect tourist destinations offering a mix of past and present, ancient and modern, art and culture, heritage and history, sports and entertainment.” |
