EIHL aims to set up network of sales offices in key international cities in next nine months

To also focus on management contract route for its further expansions

East India Hotels Limited (EIHL), the Indian hotel chain which manages hotels under the brands Oberoi and Trident will focus on restructuring its sales and marketing network globally in the current financial year. The company which focuses on driving business, MICE and leisure tourists to its property aims to set up a comprehensive network of sales offices in key international cities over the next nine months. It recently established its sales office in London, which will help drive prime corporate and leisure clientele from Europe to its properties.

Further, the company is in the process of setting up its sales offices in the Middle East and Singapore in the next three months. Plans are also in the pipeline to expand its network to China, Brazil, Russia and Scandinavia. Speaking about the development, Liam Lambert, President, EIHL stated, “There is a lot of work needed to be done internationally with respect to creating brand awareness about our products. The focus of this restructuring process is to understand the key features of these international markets and cater to the clientele accordingly.
