According to a UNI report, tourist wanting to visit the Taj Mahal in Agra will have the facility to buy entrance ticket from various monumental sites spread across the country from November 16, 2009, when the new system will be introduced. It will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Dr A R Siddiqui, Superintendent, Archaeology Department said that tickets to foreign tourists will be available from next day of the inauguration, while the facility will be extended to domestic tourists later.
