| | Expedia has indicated that it is open to working with travel agents in its affiliate programme on their Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising campaigns in future. Tamer Tamar, Managing Director and Vice President, Expedia Affiliates Network, said advising some of these agents on their PPC advertising campaigns to boost their sales was not out of the question reported travelweekly.co.uk. Last month, Expedia had shared that more than 185 travel agents have signed up to Expedia’s travel agent affiliate programme in the UK. Accommodation-only bookings have emerged as the driving force behind the initial success of Expedia’s Travel Agents Affiliates Programme (TAAP). The programme, which gives agents direct access to Expedia product, was launched to UK agents for the first time in October last year.
