| | FCm Travel Solutions a global corporate travel and expense management specialist part of Flight Centre Ltd has formulated a global growth strategy for the next 12 months, according to which the Asia Pacific region/market will be developed more than any other region. Rahul Nath, Managing Director (India and Middle East), FCm Travel Solutions said, “In the current economic situation when corporates have reduced travel drastically, our budget for this year will be lower than the previous year. Unlike other organisations we are not retrenching by reducing staff or compromising on our offerings, instead we plan to target our core markets (Asia Pacific) more aggressively with quality services.”
FCm Travel Solutions India saw uplift in business in the month of January this year. Nath said that they are expecting the business to return to normal by this summer. “There was a slowdown in business by 30-40 per cent in December 2008 and about 25-30 per cent in January 2009.
