Festa Italiana to focus on creating talent for tourism industry

Event to be held in six Indian cities this month

Festa Italiana, a annual event of the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, the Consulates General of Italy in Mumbai and Kolkata, the Italian institute of Culture and ENIT – Italian State Tourist Board will kick start the eighth edition of Festa Italiana tomorrow in Mumbai. The event will be held in five cities in India- Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai and Goa up to March 22, 2010. This event will include a series of exhibitions, film festivals, concerts, economic and educational exchanges.

Narendra Nayar, President, The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said, “Festa Italiana is a unique initiative conceptualised and organised by the Chamber to strengthen Indo-Italian relationships. The mix of events lined up for this year promises to enthrall and give Indian audiences an experience of different facets that define Italy at its best.”
