FHRAI & IATO to support Indiatourism, Beijing

Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) and Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) have announced their support to Indiatourism, Beijing to organise familiarisation (FAM) tours in India for Chinese travel trade and media. Both the associations have conveyed their support to Shoeb Samad, Director, Indiatourism, Beijing during deliberations at the just concluded FHRAI annual convention platform at Shanghai.

The proposal for such a partnership was put forward by Vijay Thakur, President, IATO at the ‘Open House’ of the convention and was readily accepted by FHRAI leadership. While FHRAI member hotels in the country will provide accommodation for such delegations, IATO will take care of the travel part of the FAM trips. A resolution was also passed at the valedictory function extending support to the activities of Indiatourism office.

Earlier, presenting the various promotional activities taken up by the Indiatourism, Beijing, Samad said that the it could make a presence in the market within six months of opening the office.
