| | ederation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) will fully support Ministry of Tourism’s (MoT) ‘Hunar se Rozgar’ programme. The programme is an initiative by MoT to create employable skills among the weaker sections of the society in hospitality disciplines like Food Production and F&B service. FHRAI is hoping to launch the programme in 12 cities across India by February 2010.
Harish Sud, Secretary General, FHRAI said, “The programme will be launched in 12 cities in the country through our member hotels. FHRAI is in the process of finalising the syllabus for two programmes — Food Production and F&B Service. We along with MoT will launch joint advertisement campaigns in the coming months to invite applications for the training programmes from interested candidates.”
Rajindera Kumar, President, FHRAI said, “The message has been sent to all regional chapters in order to garner support for the programme.” He informed that FHRAI Executive Committee will meet in Kolkata on January 28, 2009 to chalk out all important issues concerning the industry. | | Read complete story >> (You need to login first to read complete story).
