Finnish Tourism Board to get more active on B2B level in India

VisitFinland, the Finnish Tourism Board in India is now looking at getting more active in the B2B level to enhance Indian arrivals to Finland this year. The board is planning to organise more educational trips, seminars, workshops and online promotions for the Indian travel trade. The board is also open to join marketing campaigns with tour operators in India. The board is aiming to focus on MICE segment apart from families and groups to increase figures from India. This was informed by Arto Asikainen, Head – Asia Market, VisitFinland at the recently organised ‘Twin-City’ road show in Mumbai and New Delhi.

The suppliers who participated at the road-show were Rovaniemi Tourism & Marketing Ltd, Finnair, A La Carter Lapland Oy, The Travel Experience, Tallink Silja Oy, Viking Line, Tallinn City Enterprise Board, Eurohostel Ltd – Finnish Hotels, Helsinki City Tourist & Convention Bureau and VisitFinland.
