| | German-based DB Bahn, the German national railway company is now aggressively looking at tapping Indians travelling to Germany and Europe as a whole. The company is aiming to tap the leisure, family, business, FIT and VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) segment in India. To start with, the rail operator has appointed Germantours in India as their official GSA (General Sales Agent) and representative, also called as 'DB Terminal' for the Indian market. Germantours offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata will be offering DB products to the travel trade through CRS (Central Reservation System). The products will include point-to-point tickets and German Rail Pass (valid for a minimum of four days with price starting from Euro 135). More products customised for the Indian market are expected to be introduced by early next year. | | Read complete story >> (You need to login first to read complete story). New User?
