Globus family of brands changes status to wholly-owned subsidiary in India

The Globus family of brands recently announced the change of its status to a wholly-owned subsidiary for its office in India. The strategic move is in line with the firm’s objective of strengthening its presence in India. The Globus family of brands includes coach touring brands Cosmos and Globus, river cruises with Avalon Waterways and Monograms independent vacations. The company set up its offices in India as a liaison office in January 2006.

“India is one of our key growth markets and we are very excited about the possibilities that this change presents,” said Gauri Jayaram, Regional Director – South Asia & Middle East, Globus family of brands. With this move, the company is also increasing its investment in the Indian market - in the area of marketing, technology as well as a larger team to service the Indian market. The company currently has a sales presence across four major cities in India.
