Low-cost carrier, GoAir, will add seven daily flights from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Ranchi, Patna and Bengaluru from December 21, 2011. According to a statement, the additional flights are meant to cater to the increase in traffic expected in these sectors. GoAir has also introduced a host of value-added features such as Go Club, web check-in, a fog helpline and an SMS service to check flights status.
With the introduction of new flights, the total number of GoAir’s daily flights will touch 82, and weekly flights will touch approximately 580. GoAir currently flies to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengalooru, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Jammu, Srinagar, Guwahati, Bagdogra, Chandigarh, Goa, Jaipur, Nagpur, Nanded, Patna, Pune, Leh, Lucknow, Ranchi, Kolkata and Port Blair. The airline currently operates 11 aircraft and will induct two new Airbus A320 aircraft in January & April 2012. |
