Govt of Maharashtra, MEDC, MTDC to celebrate ‘Visit Golden Maharashtra Year’ from April 2010 to March 2011

The Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC) and Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (MTDC) in association with MultiNet Worldwide will be celebrating ‘Visit Golden Maharashtra Year’ from April 2010 to March 2011. The year-long celebration will kick start with a two-day business conference from April 20-21, 2010 in Mumbai. Ashok Chavan, Chief Minister, Maharashtra will inaugurate the conference on April 20, 2010.

MEDC has tied up with TravelBiz Monitor, as the knowledge partner for the conference and year-round activity. The conference will be organised in association with tourism industry associations such as Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), The Hotel & Restaurant Association Western India (HRAWI), Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), India Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) and Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) to reach all the stakeholders of tourism and hospitality sector in India.
