IAAI to elect new office bearers for N India Chapter during its AGM on August 7, 2009 in New Delhi

IATA Agents Association of India (IAAI) has decided to elect new office bearers for the North India Chapter during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held on August 7, 2009 in New Delhi. The new office bearers will be selected through the election process. The AGM will be attended by 90 IAAI members from North India.

“We expect maximum IAAI members to attend the AGM, which will be held in Delhi,” said Dalip Gupta, Secretary (North India Chapter), IAAI. Biji Eapen, President, IAAI will address the meeting. Besides, IAAI is also planning to organise study class on IATA resolution, interpretation, and implementation along with airline policies and procedures for IAAI members in North India during the AGM.

At the meeting, IAAI members will elect seven executive members for the North India Chapter; further the elected executive members will select top office bearers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer) for North India Chapter. The election will held under the aegis of two election officers designated by IAAI. The election officers are: Tom Varghese, Kerala State President, IAAI who is from Akbar Travels
