ICCA Congress to be held in India for the first time

International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), the international organisation for the meeting and conferencing industry will host its 49th annual global Congress at Hyderabad in India. It will be held from October 23-27, 2010 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The Association represents 900 suppliers from the international conferencing industry with members in 85 countries. This is the first time the conference will be held in India.  The Association is expecting participation of around 850 members for the Congress in Hyderabad.

The conference is being organised in India by the local host committee consisting of 17 ICCA members in India. “This is the best opportunity to present our products and services for the MICE segment to the global mass market, helping the international industry stakeholders to experience them. Currently, India would have about one per cent of the global conferencing business.
