| | Indian Tourism Congress (ITC), an organisation of academicians from tourism institutes in India, will hold their second international conference in Dubai at the Imperial Suites Hotel from September 10 to 13 this year. The first such conference was held last year in Bangkok. The theme of the second international conference is ‘Contemporary Tourism: Practices and Innovations.’
According to Prof. Kapil Kumar, President, ITC, the conference will discuss and address a wide array of tourism related issues that rightly acknowledge the importance of tourism sector. “The basic idea behind holding conferences abroad is to promote India, as well as to interact with people associated with tourism and hospitality education there,” informed Prof. Kumar.
The three-day conference will discuss subjects like Contemporary Practices in International Tourism and Hospitality Business; Innovations in Tourism and Hospitality Industry; Destination Development and Branding; Sustainability Issues in Tourism Development; Tourism Education & Research, etc. Research papers on these subjects will also be presented at the conference. | | Read complete story >> (You need to login first to read complete story).
