Indonesia-based inbound tour operator, Asiabeds to commence B2B operations in India next month

Sets up sales office in New Delhi, to focus on leisure and MICE clientele

Asiabeds, Indonesia-based inbound tour operator and Destination Management Company (DMC) will start its B2B operations in India next month. The decision to start operations in India was taken as part of the company’s expansion plan of starting operations in various international markets. The company’s main focus is to target leisure and MICE clientele from India.

According to Renato Domini, Founder and Managing Director, Asiabeds, 26,000 Indian travelers visited Indonesia last year. “These figures convinced us to set up operations in India to service the market better,” said Domini. For its India operations, the company has set up a sales office in New Delhi and has appointed Nisha Shrivastva as its Marketing Manager. Shrivastva will take charge from next month. Prior to this post, she served as Manager - Sales in Outbound Marketing, India.

When contacted regarding the plans for the Indian market, Shrivastva, who will look primarily look after the Northern and Southern regions said, “India is a significant outbound market. Recession and other crisis in the global tourism industry have had less impact on the Indian market.
