Inorbit Tours launches senior citizen tours

Mumbai based tour operator, Inorbit Tours Pvt Ltd has diversified from its forte of MICE Tourism with the launch of senior citizen tours. The company recently conducted two tours (group of 45 persons per tour) for senior citizens with the age of the travellers ranging from 60-91 years. The company has started the senior citizens tours with an outbound focus and conducted its first two tours with packages of China-Hong Kong-Macau. The company will organise its forthcoming tours in October to Egypt and Turkey. It eventually plans to offer European journeys to the senior citizen segment and also organise inbound tours for this segment.

“Senior citizens segment is a highly untapped one in India and there is immense interest for travel that I have seen generated from this age group. I got the idea after attending a senior citizens conference. After the first two tours, I am receiving several queries through referrals,” informed Om Prakash Sehgal, Director, Inorbit Tours. While the company will be conducting five tours in all for the first year of operations, it plans to launch new destinations and conduct more tours next year.
